Well I lived in Portugal and there was no age so I'm guessing Spain is the same.

You have to be 18 to purchase alcohol in both countries, if I'm not mistaken.
Haha yeah but seriously, you're portuguese - Have they ever IDed you before you were 18? (If you are) My sister was 11 and she went in and got alcohol.
Never for alcohol. But I got IDed for cigarettes once when I was 14, and then again earlier this year. "Hey are you eighteen?" "No, I'm nineteen." "Okay then."  aaalso, I got IDed at clubs. But for some reason, they always let me in, even though I wasn't 16 yet. Either way, when I turned 18, legal age was stil 16.

in most places its 18, especially Spain. I think France can drink as early as like 7 or 10.
